DE 635 Motion & Sound

Exploration of motion literacy — the act of understanding of how the "language" of moving image and sound can be used to communicate effectively. The course will focus on cinematic vocabulary in the context of time-media by creating linear and non-linear narrative structures.

Karolina Novitska, current student of the Dynamic Media Institute at Massart, was announced the Winner of 2006 Adobe Design Achievement Awards in "Live Action" category. The student winners were honored by Adobe and the design community at a special event held on July 20, 2006, at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada.
