Background
It all began about 31 or so years ago when my parents gave each other "a very special hug". Following the guidelines of proper nutrition, I grew from a fertilized egg into a strapping, young college student with eyes of fire. After being released into the wild, I started off at the University of Virginia, where I studied architecture and learned how to do an Upside-Down Margarita. But longing for the desert expanses of the Great Southwest, I left after a year for the University of Arizona and its lenient interpretation of the American legal system.

After a year there, I realized that I wasn't cut out for architecture, mostly because I kept smudging all of my drawings. So, unaware and inattentive, I ventured into the Wide World of Graphic Design. And after about another decade and a half in college, I graduated to the ranks of the professional world where, above all, I learned the eminent value of a signed contract and an unlisted phone number. But it wasn't all meat and potatoes.

After working as a print designer for a couple of years, I moved into interactive design. However, after years of being dropped on my head as a child, I now have a notoriously short attention span. And so I dropped everything (well, not literally) and, after a healthy array of bribes, I enrolled at Massart. (OK, that's a joke for anyone who thinks I'm serious. The bribes part, I mean. Not the enrolling in Massart. I really am here.) And now, I'm online. Still, there are a few people who feel that I need intensive psychotherapy. Unfortunately, I can't get credit for it.

Memento

This project is an attempt at creating an interactive narrative. As someone deeply interested in cinema, the idea of creating such a narrative was, at first, not particularly appealing to me. I had two concerns: The first was that...

September 11, 2001 has been described as a day that many of us will never forget. But it seems that we have forgotten. Our lives have resumed their routines; our society has become baser and more superficial than it...
