Between explores how the visual and verbal languages work to define something and asks if it is possible to deconstruct a word to the point of abstraction to then visually interact with it in order to come to an understanding of its meaning. Every aspect of Between is true to the concept of between. Contents (bolts, transparent squares, typography, lines, adhesive) are layered between two 25x25î Plexiglas boards. Between is expressed through type and image using scale and weight to define shapes, negative and positive space, and bring new meaning to spatial relationships.
